We have had a wonderful and calm start to the year in 3 / 4 Shearing. We have spent the last two weeks implementing our classroom practices and expectations. We have hit the ground running with focusing on developing our skills in predicting using clues from the story before, during and after reading. We have also been learning how to play a range of Math related games that support our understanding of Friends of Ten and grouping objects in different ways. In the coming weeks, we will be focusing on character development and narrative and persuasive writing.
