This term our class have been focusing on electrical energy as part of a unit with Mr Backhouse our student teacher, who has been working with us for 6 weeks. This is his last week with us and we will all miss him very much.

We had a challenge using the following materials to make a balance arm that showed the transfer of energy. Some of the energy types could be: kinetic, potential, mechanical, motion etc.

Currently we are creating a balloon rocket using string, straws, cardboard tubes and a balloon. We are working in groups to design a balloon rocket capable of being launched using our knowledge of transformed energy.
