In 5-6 Perry we have been working hard on developing our narrative writing. We looked at the complete process of developing a work of fiction in the same way that a professional writer would.

We began with brainstorming ideas for a story and then developing and writing a draft. Following this we re-read, edited and improved our work and then published the story using Microsoft Word. When we had completed and printed our story, we studied what a great blurb looks like.

We then developed our blurbs and added them to back page of our story. After looking at numerous cover pages from a range of novels, we designed and created our own and added them to the package.

Finally, we put all the components together to complete our novels.
