In Prep Dillon we have made a wonderful start to Term 3!

At the start of the Term we went on an excursion to Sorell School Farm and Simmons Park. We got to participate in lots of activities where we learnt about the animals and how to care for them.

As a class we have been reading and listening to novels by Roald Dahl. We have been using our imaginations to picture what the characters are like and events that happen. We have also been having fun role playing some of the stories. Our favourite has been making our own George’s Marvellous Medicine! 

In mathematics we have been focusing on the language used in maths. We have been learning the language used in worded problems to help us when we problem solve. We have used new strategies to show our thinking like drawing pictures and using counters.
