I would like to take this opportunity to thank our school community for supporting our latest COVID safe protocols we are seeing many adults use the Tas check in app as they enter building across our school site. This initiative will support contact tracing across the state in the event of an outbreak. Our school has been extremely lucky for the start of Term 3 with no staff effected by the VIC/SA lockdown and home isolation measures.

Term 3 has seen a busy start across our school in regard to curriculum our cross curricular focus for this term is Asia Pacific so teachers will be making many links with the Olympics happening on our screens in Japan. Students have been very excited to research the region further and cheer on our Australian athletes.

Canteen update

At our final assembly in Term 2 the Tasmanian Canteen Association presented our school with certification for Platinum level, we are one of only 2 schools in Tasmania to be accredited with this level. It means that our canteen is recognised across the state as leading students in healthy eating and education. Congratulations to Lisa and our canteen team for this wonderful recognition.

Term 3 events

This Term will again be busy with exciting events happening across the school and community, some of these events include Growing Up Program 5/6 students, Student Wellbeing Survey 4-6 students, Book Week K-6, Science Week K-6, Swimming and Water Safety 3-6 students, School Disco K-6, Winter Sports Carnival 5/6 students.

2022 Kinder enrolments

We are now accepting 2022 kinder enrolments please contact the office if you have a child who is turning 4 this year as they are eligible to start kinder in 2022. More information is available from our Facebook, school website and directly from the office.
