Students in 5/6D have started Term 3 with a very positive attitude and have settled very well into their regular routines.

I’m very impressed with their confident start.

Our Literacy focus for the first half of this term will be Informative Texts, which will also include paragraph writing. We will also be incorporating research projects around the current Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Our Numeracy focus for the first few weeks will be problem solving, revising multiplication and division strategies, and then moving into fractions and decimals.

During our Aboriginal focus last term, we created some lovely artwork around a Corroboree theme, using lots of indigenous inspired designs.
