Principal's Report
As we continue to focus on our school values you may have seen our Values Champions highlighted across our various communication channels? If you have anyone in our school community who you feel displays our values, please contact the school office and we can look to acknowledge them moving forward.
I would like to congratulate our Year 3 and 5 students this week who have begun NAPLAN testing, all students have tackled the tests with courage and are showing aspiration as they complete each test with confidence. NAPLAN testing will conclude at the end of next week.
Cross Country
Congratulations to all Year 3-6 students who competed in our school cross country carnival on Tuesday, the conditions were not favourable with temperatures dropping very low and light drizzle however students battled through and did an amazing job. Today we will announce the house winners and captains will be presented with our new house shield today in assembly.
Athletic Champion Athletes
Well-done to 2 of our students who represented all southern schools at the recent state-wide Athletics carnival in Launceston. Lachie Wooldridge 2nd Year 5 boys 200m sprint. Mia Gilmour 1st in the long jump, 3rd in the 100m and 200m sprint, 2nd in the relay for Year 4 girls.

James Stewart - successful in Woolworths/Landcare grant $1100 + Future You funded by the Office of the Women’s Ambassador in STEM – they will showcase our STEM program Nationally
Jess Muir – successful nomination for ABC radio Community Champion award for school soup program
Mother's Day Stall
I would like to thank Rachel and our School Association for their organisation of our recent Mother’s Day Stall which raised over $1000. These funds form part of the ongoing support that our School Association provide us.
