Across term 1 and 2, students in 3/4E have been continuing their readiness and respectfulness values, by helping to look after our worm farm. The worm farm was introduced as part of our inquiry cycle in science and has continued to be a source of wonder and sustainability in red pod. Students have been actively involved in producing compost for the worms, and we have been using the worm tea to help plants in red pod grow. Montayah’s and Zac’s (pictured) job this term has been to help keep the worms’ habitat clean and damp. Feel free to come and check it out next time you are in red pod!
