Jack Jumpers Visit
On Tuesday 26 November, some of the helpers from the Tasmanian basketball team The Jack Jumpers came to Austins Ferry Primary to teach us some basketball skills.
They taught us the key skills for basketball which were dribbling, shooting and passing. We got into teams of 5 to 6 and played some fun games/actives.
At the end of the lesson, we all got a white jersey and the kids who joined in nicely and were awesome throughout the lesson got a special prize. At the start of lunch time, the classes who participated in the Jack Jumpers activities got a fruit skewer and a little piece of salmon taco, which were delicious.
We all enjoyed the Jack Jumpers activities and would like to thank the Jack Jumpers helpers, for coming over and having fun with us!
